THE TROTWOOD CIC IS PLACING A 6 MONTH MORATORIUM ON THIS PROGRAM. DUE TO ECONOMIC CHANGES AND POTENTIAL NEW OPPORTUNITIES, WE ARE STUDYING AND EVALUATING THE BEST OUTCOMES FOR THESE PROPERTIES.
WE WILL STILL BE COLLECTING INTEREST FROM RESIDENTS FOR LOTS IN THE COMMUNITY. YOU MAY COMPLETE THE "PRE-APPLICATION FORM" BELOW, BUT UNDERSTAND WE WILL NOT FOLLOW UP UNTIL THE 6 MONTH MORATORIUM ENDS IN MARCH 2023.

Trotwood's Side-Lot Program
There are vacant lots available to adjacent property owners within the City of Trotwood. If you are a property owner that would like to acquire the vacant, abandoned lot adjacent to your property to make extra side-yard, this program can help you do this. The program is still in development, but we are taking pre-application forms for residents to express their interest and allow our staff to research the status of the lot and the appropriate process to initiate the transfer.
